In order to provide an appropriate covering between the pod and the reinforcing in conventional residential waffle pod slabs, PodRails are made to support mesh. Because each pod only needs two rails, they attach quickly and simply, which saves time and lessens fatigue. To ensure they stay in place, the rail's bottom spikes pierce the waffle pod.
Once installed, the mesh can be laid directly on top of the rail. PodRail’s provide 40mm of cover and are 550mm in length. PodRail spacers are manufactured in Australia to AS/NZS2425(2015)-60kg and are packed in packs of 20.
